ASUS kembali mendatangkan Hp Asus terbaru, smartphone quad core Android KitKat 5 inci yang dapat berubahjadi tablet 8,9 inci. Siaran pers ASUS Indonesia mengatakan Spesifikasi Hp Asus PadFone S berfitur 4G LTE yang mensupport konektivitas data sampai kecepatan 150Mbps. PadFone S mempunyai processor quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 2,3GHz dengan layar berkualitas Full HD serta feature IPS untuk pojok pandang yang sangatlah luas. Processor itu jadikan waktu mengambil video 4K Ultra HD (3840x2160) atau 4x lipat semakin besar kualitasnya dibanding kualitas Full HD.
Memainkan game 3D berkwalitas juga bakal sangatlah lancar serta RAM 2GB tak merasa lag. Station itu komplit dengan stereo dual front speakers with ASUS SonicMaster technology, dan baterai penambahan sebesar 4.999mAh, melengkapi baterai smartphone yang sebesar 2.300mAh. PadFone S diperkuat kamera belakang beresolusi 13MP dengan feature dedicated ISP, auto-Focus, aperture f/2. 0,5-element lens, serta PixelMaster untuk lowlight photography untuk foto serta video. Smartphone itu juga dapat mengambil photo sampai 400% lebih jelas waktu ada di ruangan bersinar redup dibanding kamera smartphone biasanya.
Untuk melengkapi, ada juga kamera 2MP dibagian depan smartphone serta 1MP dibagian depan tablet. Smartphone ini diklaim ASUS juga sebagai " Super Durable " dengan splash-proof level IPX2 membuatnya tahan pada percikan air. Kekuatan drop-proof diklaim jadikan PadFone S tahan saat jatuh dari ketinggian 1,5 mtr. ke permukaan baja. Soal harga hp ASUS PadFone S di jual di harga Rp3,799 juta (untuk smartphone) atau Rp4,499 juta (smartphone + station).
